Savic ble etablert som produsent av utstyr til kjæledyr i Belgia allerede i 1953. I dag er Savic en av de beste produsentene av plastbur, plasttilbehør og metallbur for kjæledyr. Produksjonen er i Belgia så relativt kortreiste produkter for oss nordmenn. Selskapet eies fortsatt av Doornaert-Savic-familien og er for tiden inne i sin 3. generasjon som familieeid selskap. Savic vil fortsette å investere i sine folk, infrastruktur og utvalg slik at de kan fortsette å tilby innovative produkter av belgisk toppkvalitet.
